Bear Lake Lodging Rental Policies
RESTRICTIONS: A few specific restrictions are noted below.
- All properties are non-smoking.
- Occupancy numbers are strictly enforced. Do not exceed the Maximum Occupancy for a property.
- Parking is limited (some units may have limits to the number of vehicles that can be parked at the unit).
- House parties are prohibited.
- Pets prohibited in all properties (except 110, 212 and 213 which are advertised specifically as pet units).
- Must be 21 years of age or older to enter into Rental Agreement
- We will not tolerate yelling or harassment of our staff or other guests. You will be removed from the property with no refund.
- Bear Lake Lodging will not be responsible for any injuries incurred during your trip. Customer and all guests agree to hold Bear Lake Lodging and it's property owner's harmless from any injuries incurred during their trip to Bear Lake. The visit to Bear Lake is at your own risk.
MINIMUM DAYS: Each property has a minimum number of night required to reserve (see individual property listings). Occasionally the minimum will go up on certain holidays and weekends. We may offer to reduce the number of days required for the following reasons: To fill rental gaps, last minute reservations, and off season rentals.
CHECK IN / OUT: Guests check-in at 48 W. Logan Rd, Garden City, UT. Check in time is after 4:00 pm, Check out time is no later than 10:00 am.
ADVANCE YEAR RESERVATIONS FOR 2018: Bear Lake Lodging's web site will allow reservations up to 365 days in advance. Rates usually increase in October so book early and save.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY AND PARKING CAPACITY: Bear Lake Lodging along with the Town of Garden City has set and published occupancy and parking limits for every unit and strictly enforces these limits. Our properties are varied in size and locations often resulting in different rules about boats, trailers, and RVs. Please check the individual property listing for information about parking.
CANCELATION POLICIES & FEES: If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days before the first day of occupancy, you forfeit the entire non-refundable reservation deposit, which is 33% of your total reservation cost (may be higher if you booked from another website). If you cancel your reservation 30 days or fewer before the first day of occupancy, you will forfeit your total reservation cost. We do offer travel insurance (see terms & conditions on www.csatravelprotection.com) which will protect you in case of an emergency. If you need to change the dates of your reservation you will need to contact our office to make arrangements. There will be a $50 processing/handling fee for all changes to the dates of your reservations. Changing properties will require you to cancel your current reservation and make a new reservation in the property that you want. This will result in a loss of all non refundable monies paid, and require a deposit for the new property.
TRAVEL PROTECTION/TRIP CANCELATION INSURANCE: Bear Lake Lodging has contracted with CSA, Inc. (800) 554-9839 in order to offer you trip cancelation insurance to protect your vacation investment against severe weather, injury, sickness, job loss, or death and other unforeseen covered circumstances, which could cause cancelation of confirmed reservation and forfeiture of payments (see www.csatravelprotection.com for terms and conditions prior to purchase). The optional trip cancelation insurance cost is 6.95% of the Trip Cost, and can be purchased either at the time of making the reservation or prior to paying your Final Balance. Payment of the plan will not be accepted after Bear Lake Lodging has received your Total Balance Due. You are required to indicate choice to accept or decline optional trip insurance on the Rental Confirmation and Rental Agreement. Please realize that manually subtracting cost of trip insurance from the Total Balance Due on Rental Confirmation, and by not paying premium, indicates decline of optional trip cancelation insurance. You will have 10 days from the date you receive the trip cancelation policy to review the policy and cancel, in writing, if you do not elect to purchase this coverage. Refunds and coverage issues will be based and determined solely by CSA, Inc. and the existing policy will be issued to Guest if coverage of this insurance has been elected upon making reservation.

Information regarding individual listings is believed accurate but cannot be guaranteed. We have made every effort to ensure that all the information on Agent website is current and accurate. The possibility of errors and omissions exists. We will be happy to confirm all data contained herein or answer any questions you may have prior to booking your reservation. Rates for holidays, special events, and weekends may be higher. Rates do not include tax and are subject to change. Rates, furnishings, fees, and taxes are subject to change without notice.
